The Quincy University Hawk Express Jazz Band will perform its Spring Jazz Showcase Concert on Sunday, April 7 at 3:00 p.m. at the Connie Niemann Center for Music at QU’s North Campus, 17th & Seminary Road. The concert is free and open to the public.

The QU Hawk Express Jazz Band is under the direction of Dr. Christine Damm, DMA, dean of the school of fine arts and communication. They will perform a wide array of jazz tunes including: Sing Sing Sing, Perdido, Kick It, Solar, and Jazzville.  Junior education major Ethan Ensinger will be featured on bass guitar on the tune Touchin’ All the Basses.
